Support Youth Organizing
We support LGBTQ+ youth organizers across the country to take action and create change at all levels, from school-based campaigns that impact individual school districts to national days of action that unite GSAs for racial and gender justice.
Build the GSA Movement
Through our Regional Organizing strategy, we infuse staff capacity and technical expertise in these regions in order to strengthen local organizations and increase trans and queer youth of color leadership development and engagement.

Calling all California GSA youth leaders: APPLY TODAY!
The Statewide Campaign Committee is a virtual leadership development program for Trans, Queer, and Two-Spirit students ages 13 to 17 in California. Committee members will develop their skills in youth organizing, campaign work, and leadership to advance committee priorities and build Trans, Queer, and Two-Spirit youth power. Some of the work will include leading campaigns in your school district and developing a statewide campaign & organizing infrastructure to support other local GSA youth-led campaigns.
💻 Committee members but be students who live in and go to schools in California; attend all committee meetings; attend at least four CA membership meetings; and support committee activities across the state.
💕 Benefits of being a member include educational awards up to $300 every three months; exclusive materials like t-shirts, stickers, and more!; food and transportation support; and tech support.

We’re marching with the Gender Liberation Movement on Sept 14 in Washington D.C. → 🌈 Registered GSA clubs near DC or in neighboring states can get sponsored to join: post/tag us on IG or reach out directly once your club has registered if you are interested in attending the march next Saturday!
[UPDATE CORRECTION: @queerunitymarch has moved to April 5, 2025!!] October: Bring that power back home! GSA clubs are joining @QueerStudentAssemble's call for a National Queer Student March. → 🌈 Registered GSA clubs can receive $500 project mini-grants through our Youth Freedom Fund to boost your campus efforts! Applications can be accessed monthly through our GSA newsletter, Stardial.
November: #TQ2Syouthpower don’t stop there. Regardless of election results early November, the National Trans Youth Council invites all GSA clubs to join their call for “COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATION THAT REFLECTS OUR NEEDS AND HISTORIES”---part of our annual GSA Day 4 Gender Justice. → 🌈 Registered GSA clubs who opt-in by 9/30 will receive a free art package mailed in October to gear up for #GSADay4GJ!
